WADF – WEST-EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016

• Styles – Urban Street & Pop Dance, Stage Dance, Ballroom & Latin Dance. There will be a lot of subcategories which means a lot of possibilities to attend the championships. For a complete overview visit the WADF Calendar and scroll to this event.
• Rules – Under auspices of WADF – World Artistic Dance Federation
• Contestants – Dutch and foreign dancers
• Fee – €10,- per category per person with a maximum of €30,- in total (for example: if you’re in for 5 categories you pay € 30,-, if you’re in for just 1 category you pay €10,-).
• Registration – Open for solo dancers, crews or dance studios. Initial subscription as a ‘supportive member’ gives you the possibilitiy to attend these championships without a paid membership. Costs: Registration needs to be also done on the WADF website. Send a ‘request for membership’ and you will receive a login code. You’re now ready to subscribe to all categories.

Combination Convention – This event will take place at the same time as the Convention, which offers the possibility to participate in both. Especially for registered participants in the WADF Championships it will be possible to upgrade to the convention classes for €15,- per class. This upgrade will not be bookable in advance, but can only be purchased in cash at the registration desk during the WADF Championships according to availability.

Hotel – Special arrangements have been made with the hotel at the event location. Selected rooms are available at a special rate of € 80,- per double room/per night instead of the regular price of € 105,-. These selected rooms are limited. For more details and registration, please check Location.

DUTCH OPEN DANCE CONVENTION

The set up
For this event Dutch Open Dance has joined forces with Dutch Dance Agency (Franklin Ignacio) & SQ Productions (Susanne Tuny). A weekend where you can follow dance workshops from renowned, professional and talent full top choreographers from abroad as well as from Holland. There will be master classes where you can broaden your career opportunities. There is also a showcase evening where own work can be shown. A market square where you can purchase dance related items makes the event complete.

Masterclass Auditions & Career opportunities
These two segments will be jointly presented by Dancers at Work & Dutch Dance Agency. Here you’ll receive tips and tricks and perhaps you might be scouted for future assignments. A part of our faculty will be holding the audition.

Levels
The convention is set up in two levels. Intermediate for dance students & studio dancers. Advanced/Pro for graduated dancers, teachers and professionals. There is a minimum age of 12 years.

Tickets
We offer tickets for individuals, groups and visitors. For more details and registration go to Pricing. The ‘weekend’ ticket option is considered as best value. In this case you’ll receive the following:

• Admission to the entire convention
• 1 x group warming up (30 minutes)
• 8 x dance workshops (1 hour and 15 minutes)
• 1 master class audition (approx. 1,5 hours)
• 1 master class career opportunities (45 minutes)
• Admission to the showcase evening and after party
• Meet & Greet opportunities
